On the occasion of the National Day, representatives of teachers and students of Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Center visited Mr. Chen Jiaer.

On the morning of September 30, Yan Xueqing, director of Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Center, Ma Wenjun, deputy director and Nie Ruijuan, assistant to the director, visited Mr. Chen Jiaer on behalf of the center. Mr. Chen Jiaer is a famous physicist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academician of the Third World Academy of Sciences, and has contributed to the development of a new generation of accelerators in China. Professor Yan Xueqing, researcher Ma Wenjun and Professor Nie Ruijuan inquired about Mr. Chen's physical and living conditions, recalled the years of work and struggle in Peking University with Mr. Lao, and reported on the achievements of Peking University's nuclear discipline in discipline construction and talent training in recent years, and introduced the recent evaluation of academician workstations in Guangdong Province and the development of platform projects. Professor Yan Xueqing asked Mr. Chen to take care of his health, care for and support the development and construction of Peking University's nuclear discipline and Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Center. Mr. Chen was very happy after listening to the report. He congratulated the center on its achievements, put forward expectations for future development, and guided the discovery and training of outstanding talents in nuclear disciplines and applied physics.
