This discipline is concerned with the study of theories, methodologies, technologies and applications of Remote Sensing Science and Technology and Satellite Navigation Positioning, mainly including: (1) new theories and methods of quantitative remote sensing inversion and remote sensing information extraction, applied study of global change, ecological environment remote sensing, urban remote sensing, agricultural remote sensing, disaster remote sensing and planetary remote sensing, thus promoting precision and quantification in remote sensing applications. (2) theoretical methods and key technologies of satellite navigation system and application service, location-based service, intelligent transportation, precision agriculture and in-door navigation.
